Wonderful

Spacious modern room with a view of the lake and pool. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful in arranging taxis and organizing tours. Great location, across the street from a public dock for swimming and near several good restaurants.

The pool was small, so only for dipping to cool off.

Sun-Ha is perfect for spending the night. I highly recommend.

Location is excellent, in front of laguna, staff is great! Excellent customer service and their complimentary breakfast was great! Rooms are basic but are very clean and provide a comfortable bed, pillows, small fridge and towels.

Good

Easy checkin, decent breakfast, easy to find, room was clean and had a nice view.

No blankets only one sheet on the bed. No face cloths or hand towels. Safe was missing the key so had to use our friends safe.

Good place to stay

Good localisation, free access to the lake on the other side of the street, good breakfast with a short menu and nice view, possibility to rent a bike and free parking

Our room was dark (it had a window but a small one under the stairs), small bed (I'd prefer one bigger one than 2 double but really small)

Okay

The room was super nice and spacious and also nicely decorated. We were lucky and had a room at the end of the floor so luckily no one was walking past our room. Since you are entering the room directly via the balcony you can look directly into the room of other guests when passing by. We also enjoyed the view from the balcony directly to the blue lagoon! Pool and pool area looked nice but we didn’t use it during our stay.

Wi-Fi was horrible in our room. Staff was also not really welcoming and nice. The reception area looked untidy and dirty.

A lovely place to stay in Bacalar, totally recommend!

Beautiful modern rooms, the location of the hotel is great- just in front of public access to the lagoon, short walkable distance to the city center with mamy restaurants.

WiFi connection was not the best but I think it’s a general problem in Bacalar.

Wonderful

Good breakfast, friendly staff, spacious and clean room. Located just on the other side of the street with the public entrance to the Lagoon.

Nice hotel but the staff is not trained

The room was nice and modern.

The breakfast is quite sad here as they have only small fruit plate and eggs. Nothing else. The staff doesn’t seem to be professional and e.g. room cleaning and towels needed to be asked many times separately although they should be a standard thing.

excellent stay in a comfy environment

the staff was super nice and you can easily walk everywhere from the location. The rooms were clean and nice and the rooftop is great to relax in the hammocks. The guy from the reception let me borrow his charger 2 nights as i forgot mine. Everyone was very helpful .

I'd stay again!

The price was decent for the area and view, especially considering breakfast was included, and its right across from the lake. The staff are all very pleasant. The rooftop has chairs, tables, and hammocks, with a beautiful view of the lake. There are restaurants in walking distance. The mini fridge was stocked. The water was hot.

Breakfast could have been better...several options overall, but only 2 for those who don't eat meat. The pancakes seemed to be frozen and microwaved, but the fruit was fresh. Based on the design, you must go upstairs to reach the hotel, but the staff helps with bags. Also, due to the design, I could hear everyone walk up and down the stairs to reach their floor, as I was on the first floor of the hotel.

Perfect location and friendly staff!

We had a very friendly welcome when we arrived and were able to check in early as our room was ready. We were given lots of helpful information about the hotel, the hotel services, local areas, and things to do. The room was nice and comfortable and very clean. There was a safe that we could use in the room, and soap and shampoo were provided. The hotel offered tours and bike hire, although we did not use these services. There was free cold water available to refill our bottles, too. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Free parking was available in a shaded area under the hotel. The best bit about the hotel, though, was the location. It was very close to the public swimming area so we could access the lagoon for free. The restaurants were nearby, and so was the fort. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing place, beautiful located, would always return.

Beautiful located, public access to the lagoon directly in front of the hotel, super friendly staff, great breakfast, offered drinks against payment 24/7, free drinking-water all day, nice terrace, bike rental.

For mexico quite small rooms, loud air-con.

Comfortable well located stay in beautiful bacalar

Friendly helpful staff Clean room, nicely presented Great location - public pier across the road is great for sunrise and sunset swims, it is also only a 5- 10min walk to many of the main cafes and restaurants in town Car parking at the front of the hotel was convenient Breakfast being Included is nice. Basic but tasty with fruit bread and a main type option Having filtered water is always great in central / South America

We were in room 3, unfortunately it seems there is a drainage problem which caused a strong foul smell to fill the bathroom and subsequently main room if door left open. After cleaning on day 1 they used a product which covered it, but after a day it had returned. This should be repaired or fixed.

We couldn´t do better

- The location is amazing: one gets in 5 minutes to the center of the city, at the same the hotel is far enough from the main square to feel undisturbed - Bicycle rentals and parking direkt in the hotel - Nice breakfast with a view - Our room had a lagoon view which was a nice perk as well - Water pressure in the bathroom was good - Personnel didnt speak any english but was very attentive and went above and beyond to understand and fullfill all the wishes

Ok, this is gonna be contoversial. The hotel is really lovely and we were happy about the location and personnel, but: three days in a row we had no electricity in the afternoon, which at the same time means no water (electric pump). I dount we could blame the hotel for this, but it was just inconvenient. At the same time the workers were there in 20 Minutes to fix the problem and after 2-3 hours it was okay again. As to the bed: they were comfy and big enough, but one of the air conditions was directed exactly at the bed, which made us sleep on 1 bed on the other side of the room. But it is just personal preference.

Excellent location and spacious roof top terrace with a view of the lagoon. Cold and HOT water available (able to make own tea whenever) Marcella and Roheena so lovely to deal with and served a yummy breakfast
